In this region no school can compare to Scone Grammars overall achievements. I wanted the best for my son so I sent him to the best school. I implore any parent considering scone grammar to fight the thought crime that is religious indoctrination. Take advantage of the benefits of the school, but fight the evil. Teach your children to question everything. If you really investigate all religions you will easily discover just how silly they are and that they deliberately stifle expansive thought.

Lack of technology knowledge, as the staff are helpful in there department, if their laptops or anything has problems connecting to a projector or similar output products, learning time can be lost. As I personally have lost many hours of this.

As being a student at this school. I think I am in the right to write a review about this school.

The lockers are jammed against each other, students have to wait before getting to their lockers and end up being late to class sometimes.

The principal seems more of a figure than a leader. And doesn't have much knowledge of what happens in each subject.

The front office is oblivious to what happens within the school. As I have had to come back to school to pick up textbooks to just hand back? Like that doesn't make sense.

The cleaners are friendly, and are not seen as scary people.

They rely heavily on the one IT guy they hire.

My son has attended scone grammar for 2 years. He has developed well academically and socially. The sports program is disappointing. The religious education is purely Christian. No exploration of the myriad of other equally silly beliefs.

Lunch/recess areas are small. There are very small areas to sit and eat quietly.

"But that won't happen in Scone" They say...

The teachers are more like "friends" than teachers, it is hard to take very seriously and the pressure of tests and exams are laid off and not very enforced to study. (Not for all teachers)

The Staff are friendly, and easy to get along with, they deliver great education help and try to go as far as they can to provide information for studying and understandings.

It is inappropriate to lie to children. Religion is a lie. The fallacy of religion is revealed to most thinking humans once they begin to reflect for themselves. Instilling fear of thoughts, actions, emotions, sexual preference and questioning is cruel. I look forward to leaving this area to find a better school.

The "New" building that was built cannot help any students hide if an intruder comes into the school. As all of the walls are glass.
